The purpose of “We Remember” is to provide support to parents who have suffered pregnancy or infant loss by parents who have suffered pregnancy or infant loss. We are not medical experts or professional counselors. We urge you to consult your health care practitioner for medical advice and to see a licensed professional counselor, therapist or psychiatrist for mental health issues. We are simply parents who have had losses our own and who appreciate the opportunity to share and heal with those who truly understand what we are going through.

The in-person support group meets the second Wednesday of every month at the Appleton Public Library, 225 N. Oneida St. We also share information about and participate in other local events sponsored by different bereavement groups.

We recognize that, as valuable as the in-person meetings are, those who have suffered a loss will have a need for support between those meetings too. We Remember has set up a Facebook group to help meet this need for people to exchange support with other parents at any time of the day, any day of the year. For privacy, this is a closed group; posts are visible only to other members.
